Type B Calls Do Not Cancel
DESCRIPTION
Calls generated by a Type B (remote) call point
do not cancel.
CAUSE
The Type A call point wired to the remote Type
B call point may be damaged or faulty.
RESOLUTION
Check that the Type A is the definite cause of
the problem by removing the Type B call point and shorting the
- (negative) and R (reset) inputs on the rear of the Type A call
point. If the Type B call does not reset then return the call
point to SmartLink.

Call Types Do Not Change
DESCRIPTION
SmartWire call types defined by the trinary switches
on a Type A or Type C call point do not match the call types
defined in the SmartWire Installation Manual call types table.
CAUSE
One or more of the trinary switches on the Type
A or Type C call point may be damaged or faulty.
RESOLUTION
Return the damaged or faulty unit to SmartLink.

Master Has Old Codes
That Are Being Polled
DESCRIPTION
Master reports old codes after system configuration
changed.
CAUSE
If a master has been relocated it will still retain
the old call point codes that were initially programmed in for
polling. Unit will automatically show up as not there and delete
all old codes, which may take several minutes on a new installation.
RESOLUTION
Leave the system running for several minutes and
allow for the new installation to be recognised.
